China's Foreign Ministry on Monday strongly condemned a European report on establishing political relations with Taiwan, reiterating its call for adherence to the one-China principle.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a press conference today that the so-called "EU-Taiwan Political Relations and Cooperation" report prepared by the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee seriously violates the basic rules of international relations, the one-China principle and the general commitments made by the European side on the issue.
