According to various reports, Palestinian Ahmad Mustafa Muhammad Salah was killed while trying to throw an explosive device at IDF forces along with another person.
The charge held by Salah exploded in his hands.
He and another protester standing next to him were fatally injured.
Shortly afterwards, Salah was pronounced dead.
Palestinian media reported that hundreds of protesters were deployed at various points along the fence from the southern Gaza Strip to northern Gaza. Palestinian demonstrators clashed with IDF forces at the fence and hurled improvised explosive devices, Molotov cocktails and stones at them and set fire to tires. IDF forces responded by using means to disperse demonstrations.
