Travelers have to be prepared for train traffic restrictions again.
There are also failures at Nuremberg Central Station.
Nuremberg - Because of the strike of the German Locomotive Drivers' Union (GDL), there have been numerous train cancellations since Thursday morning (September 2).
Regional traffic and the S-Bahn are also impaired.
At Nuremberg Central Station alone between 5 and 6:20 a.m. of the 34 train connections were canceled, as the
BR
reported.
There are restrictions, especially on the routes towards Hamburg, Karlsruhe and Munich.
Nuremberg: travelers have prepared for a rail strike
As the broadcaster reports, many travelers have prepared for the rail strike.
Accordingly, the situation at Nuremberg Central Station is currently relaxed despite the circumstances.
Nuremberg: Travelers can cancel tickets
Deutsche Bahn advises postponing planned long-distance travel if possible.
A free cancellation of the tickets is also possible.
Nuremberg: Increased train cancellations in the last month
It is the third work stoppage at Deutsche Bahn within a month.
This time the strike is to be extended to five days for the first time.
The union wants 3.2 percent more wages and a corona bonus of 600 euros.
With a new offer, the railway wants to meet the central requirements of the GDL, as it has already announced.
The union has not yet responded to this.
It is therefore still unclear whether the strike will be shortened.
