According to Lior, she and her mother, a widow herself, encounter harsh remarks from apartment owners. "Some of the apartment owners ask us about the marital status already on the phone," she shared. "I still do not know where I am sleeping tonight, maybe a friend of my mother's will help us," Lior said. "If my husband was alive, we would find an apartment in an instant. He would tick everything for me. I never had to worry."

"In another story, I arrived at a really nice apartment on the streets and a married couple also came who saw the apartment at the same time. I left the apartment and texted the landlord the ID and he immediately replied that it was no longer relevant. This after he understood my status," she said.

"I'm trying to understand the head of the landlords. Apparently they are afraid, but my mother has an apartment named after her, my mother works and I start working with the help of the name another month after the girl enters kindergarten. This is the thing that disqualifies us straight away. "I understand the concern, but I have good guarantors who are willing to sign for me. I have a bank account. All right, I have never been in the red, I have checks. I'm fine, I should not be scared of me because I am a widow."
