The naval diving team of the naval forces of the Syrian Arab Army won third place in the Sixth International Armies of the World Deep Diving Championship 2021, which was hosted by the third strategic naval region of the Iranian army in the port of Kanark, southeast of Iran.
The coronation ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani. These competitions were held from August 22 to September 1, with the participation of 100 athletes from 6 countries, including Syria.
The Iranian and Russian teams shared the first place in the World Armies Deep Diving Championship 2021, while the Chinese and Syrian teams won the second and third places, respectively.
