The tenth legal conference convenes today (Thursday) in Tel Aviv.
The conference will mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Israel Bar Association, during which the most current legal, economic and social issues at the top of the public agenda will be discussed.
At the beginning of the conference, President Bozi Herzog spoke: "A state without justice is impossible. The rule of law is one of the most important organizing elements in the State of Israel. Public confidence in the justice system is still high, but there is a worrying trend. "But you have to look inward. Business conduct is the only way out."

Herzog referred to the killings in Arab society and said: "Could it be that we have become accustomed to this routine? Are our hearts crude in murders, assassinations, killings and loss of life? The State of Israel will not be able to continue living like this and still call itself a reformed state. "These are organizations that run like the army, terrorists who decide for all of us who will live and who will die. This terrorism threatens us all."

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett sent a photo greeting in which he greeted those present and said that he would work together with the justice system.
He further added that a dispute is made for heaven's sake, when it is not personal but matter-of-fact.
The conference will also be attended and attended by senior members of the Israeli judiciary, including Supreme Court President Judge Esther Hayut, former Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch, former Supreme Court President and Dr. Avichai Mandelblit, the Attorney General.
