A suspected drug driving case occurred in He Wentian.
At about 3 in the morning, officers from the West Kowloon Traffic Enforcement and Control Team were driving a police car on Princess Margaret Road and found a BMW RV with a P sign driving in the direction of Sha Tin. The driving speed was extremely slow, which aroused the suspicion of the police. The police car then sounded its horn and outflanked it, and stopped it at the Wylie Road intersection.
It is understood that the BMW male driver passed the drunk driving test, but the drug test showed that he had taken cocaine.
The police then summoned drug detection dogs to the scene to assist in the search, but no drugs or contraband were found.
The police arrested the male driver on suspicion of "driving after drugs".
