We can host grandparents this time around the table, but the experts still recommend taking precautions.

Although the Ministry of Health did not publish guidelines or recommendations for meals and family gatherings on Rosh Hashanah and the Tishrei holidays, senior doctors and experts, led by the director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, recommended holding small meals, asking any unvaccinated guest, including children, to be examined Fast before arriving for a meal, maintain a physical distance between guests and celebrate as much as possible in the open air, such as on balconies, courtyards or gardens.

Prof. Ash told Israel Today that although these are recommendations and not regulations or binding provisions, he recommends that any family wishing to defend itself adopt a "family green mark", reduce the size of the meeting as much as possible, knowing that it is better to celebrate outside than inside the house. Maintain adults by keeping physical distance and buy home tests and perform before the session.

"Anyone who has not yet been vaccinated - we were vaccinated today," Ash stressed.

Regarding prayers, Corona projector Prof. Salman Zarka recommended to the Cayman in the open air: "It is better to hold prayers outside and not in synagogues, we worked together with the local government to make it possible," and the Ministry of Health's ultra-Orthodox information staff began an outdoor prayer campaign.

Prof. Nadav Davidovich, chairman of the Association of Public Health Physicians at the Medical Association and director of the Public Health School at Ben-Gurion University, is also concerned about the spread of the corona before the holiday.

"Morbidity rates in Israel are still high. We face a significant challenge in ourselves before the holiday season, prayers and family meals. We should all think and talk to family and friends about how we will celebrate and how we can conduct holiday meals more properly, including ventilating and reducing the number of participants," he said.

"Things must not be left open," Prof. Davidovich added, "the state must give instructions - but we are all already familiar with life with the corona and can act responsibly, while adapting to the current complex situation."

Prof. Yehuda Adler, an expert in internal cardiology and medical administration and Corona's consultant to municipal authorities, noted: "It is important to be careful during the holidays, to celebrate in the open air, to avoid physical contact between young people and adults and anyone who is not vaccinated before a quick corona test."
