Brannenburg - A fatal accident occurred on Thursday on Sudelfeldstrasse in Brannenburg.
Police and ambulance services were on duty.
A fatal accident occurred in Brannenburg on Thursday afternoon (September 2).
According to initial findings, a 35-year-old Kolbermoorer drove a skip loader on Nussdorfer Straße inwards and wanted to turn left in the direction of Flintsbach am Inn, reports the Brannenburg police station.
"A 62-year-old motorcyclist from the Bad Feilnbach community drove on Sudelfeldstrasse and wanted to cross the intersection straight ahead."
The truck driver overlooked the privileged motorcyclist, so that his machine hit the side of the front of the truck.
Accident witnesses immediately provided first aid.
“Any help came too late for the motorcyclist,” explains the police.
"Despite resuscitation, he still died at the scene of the accident." The truck driver was slightly injured and treated on an outpatient basis.
An expert opinion was commissioned by the Traunstein public prosecutor, Rosenheim branch. The intersection had to be closed for several hours. The property damage is currently estimated at around 50,000 euros.
