After quite a few rumors on the subject, the legendary Abba band announced today (Thursday) that they are about to release a new album, the first in 40 years.
The album, to be called "Abba Voyage", will be released on November 5 and will contain ten new songs.
It will be preceded by a performance in augmented reality technology, in which avatars of the band members will perform his great hits on stage.

"We could not imagine a dream scenario where we release an album after 40 years and that we will still be best friends, enjoy each other's company and have absolute loyalty. Who experiences such a thing? No one."

The second song played, the harmonious "Don't Shut Me Down", is a bit reminiscent of the band's classic "The Day Before You Came".
It tells the story of a woman who returns to her husband, years after they separated.
The release date of the album is coordinated with the Christmas period, and according to Abba's friends, the record will also contain a Christmas song and a "pop song number".
