The Governor of Homs, Engineer Bassam Parsik, indicated in a statement to reporters that the initiative today is a continuity of the implementation of the Good Markets initiative, where two markets were opened in the governorate within the Freedom Hall in the Armenian neighborhood and today in the exhibition city in the Al-Waer neighborhood with the aim of providing food, school supplies and family needs at cost, indicating that it is possible Generalization of this experiment to include all regions of the province.

Muhammad Omran, director of the Syrian branch of trade in Homs, explained that the market is an outlet for displaying various necessary and necessary goods for families with the start of schools, where the sale takes place directly without an intermediary, pointing to the participation of the Syrian branch through two wings, the first for school clothes and bags, and the second for stationery with discounts ranging between 15 and 20 percent on The market price in order to activate its role in positive intervention and the real reduction of prices from the market.

In turn, Iyad al-Sibai, head of the Homs Chamber of Commerce, stated that the initiative comes as a continuation of the initiative of the people of goodness and the good markets during the month of Ramadan, which is the third phase that comes at the time of the school season and seeks to meet the needs of the people in partnership with the commercial activities in the city that supported the market with a wide variety of food commodities, stationery, clothing and other necessities The family at reasonable prices and competitive quality with its counterparts in the market, up to 25% discounts.

Lama Al-Tabbaa, director of the fairgrounds in the Al-Waer neighborhood, pointed out that the market includes a wide variety of goods and commodities necessary for the family with the advent of the school year, and provides them with an opportunity to buy at discounted prices in a way that reduces the financial burden and takes into account the living conditions of the people.

Batoul Khazem, a housewife, chose a variety of notebooks, pens and stationery for her three children in the basic education stage. She indicated that the family market helped her to get her supplies from one place, which saved her effort, time and money.
