The fight against the Delta variant: The
Ministry of Health published this morning (Thursday the updated morbidity data and it shows that yesterday 11,187 people were diagnosed as verified in Corona within 142,636 tests that took place - the positive rate now stands at 7.92%.
The number of active patients in Israel has crossed the 90,000 mark and now stands at 90,058, of whom 1,109 are hospitalized in hospitals.
Of those hospitalized, the number of patients with a severely defined condition is 666 - including 149 respirators.
To date, 7,090 people have died as a result of the virus in Israel.
The number of vaccinated in the first dose is currently 5,995,710, the number of vaccinated in the second dose is 5,494,203 and the number of people vaccinated in the third dose, the booster dose is 2,350,440.
