On the Kesselberg, complaints from noise-plagued residents are increasing - and so are accidents.
The police are now announcing increased controls again.
Kochel am See - After the best weather on Thursday evening, “there was again heavy motorcycle traffic from the local and regional speeding and racing scene on the Kesselberg,” reported the police.
There were therefore several complaints from angry citizens.
There were also some minor traffic accidents in which motorcyclists fell alone because of excessive speed.
Ducati rider falls alone in the curve
For example, a 39-year-old Ducati rider from Bad Heilbrunner, who was the only one involved, had fallen in a curve and had already been taken to the Murnau Accident Clinic.
Only his motorcycle friends were there, but they showed no interest in the police's educational work, so that the more detailed facts have yet to be determined.
Accident driver wants to pick up his damaged motorcycle
In the course of this accident recording, the officers became aware of another damaged Honda motorcycle parked in a parking lot.
The driver / owner, a 26-year-old from Munich, came a short time later to pick up his damaged motorcycle.
According to him, he fell while climbing the Kesselberg.
He did not want to comment on it, however.
Here, too, further investigations have to be made, according to the police.
Police announce increased controls in the evening hours
After the complaints and negative incidents on the Kesselberg are increasing again, the police point out that in the near future there will be more controls by uniformed and civilian police officers and that violations will be punished consistently.
