"A healthy and good year": The walls of the Old City of Jerusalem were illuminated with a spectacular welcome Israel today

The Jerusalem Municipality is preparing for hundreds of thousands of visitors who are expected to attend the Tishrei holidays • Moshe Leon, Mayor: "This year we will celebrate together, after last year we celebrated separately from the family. May it be a year of health"


On the occasion of the new year: The

walls of the Old City in the capital city were illuminated tonight (Saturday) in a huge slide with the caption: "Jerusalem wishes a healthy, good and sweet year."

The walls will also be illuminated tomorrow starting at 20:00 for the benefit of visitors who are expected to arrive in the city en masse ahead of and during the Tishrei holidays.

Moshe Leon, mayor of Jerusalem, said that "after last year we celebrated separately from the family, this year we will celebrate together. I call on everyone to obey the instructions. All residents of Jerusalem and Israel have a happy holiday and a good and sweet year, may it be a healthy year. Happy holiday."
