Luziano Moreno (30) and Julieta Peralta (28) had met in Barijho, one of the many bars in the area of the Fifth section, something like “Palermo in Mendoza”.

“In the following days we began to write and we never separated again,” Julieta recalls.
Luziano was a journalist and worked in the real estate of the father.
Julieta had dropped out of law school and worked at the airport.
When they met, she resumed her studies.
“I had not studied for two and a half years.
He had dropped out of the race.
Luziano supported me to go back to studying.
It encouraged me in every way.
His desire to grow, to progress was so great;

Luziano and Julieta had tickets for October 12.
The idea of going to Europe was born with the trip of a friend couple, with whom they made many trips of four.
They traveled to Alicante, Spain.
The couple's plan was to get to know the city, enjoy a long vacation, live the experience and then analyze what to do.
Whether to stay or return.
At the same time, Luziano proposed to Julieta to make the same trip.

With the same plan.
“There he was the one with the proposals.
And I was following him blindly.
I was feeling the best.
We were boyfriends and friends.
Hopefully all people can find at least half of all the love that Luziano gave me.
I was a privileged person;
his love was unconditional, ”he remarks.
The next step was to start raising more money, pooling the savings, and publishing everything they wanted to sell.
They had already moved in together.
They had been living together for about a year and had shared a vacation in Brazil.
While they were selling their armchairs, a car, televisions, they bought the tickets: they
would leave on October 12.
What happened from then on is known: on Thursday, July 22, around 2:00 p.m., Luziano met
Pablo Rivas Stewart (27)
on a corner of the Bombal neighborhood, three blocks from the Government House, the Courts and other public buildings.
Pablo Rivas is the main suspect in the crime of Luziano Moreno, the journalist stabbed in Mendoza.
One of Luziano's best friends had put them in touch so that the couple could complete one of the last steps before the trip: the purchase of foreign currency.
It transpired that the operation would be for 4 million pesos.
Rivas Stewart got into Moreno's car, and sitting in the passenger seat, he pulled out a knife and wounded him with ten stab wounds.
Then, he took the keys, ran the victim, and drove west to Godoy Cruz.
A neighbor had witnessed the attack, called the police and an operation was mounted to find the white Volkswagen Fox.
They would find him minutes later, in the area of a clearing: Rivas Stewart tried to discard the body of Luziano, who had already died.
He had the victim's pesos, but not the dollars he was supposed to carry.
Prosecutor Claudia Ríos charged him with the crime of "homicide criminis causa in a real contest, attempted robbery."
Rivas Stewart refused to testify and continues to be detained at the San Felipe Unit.
For now, the preventive prison hearing went to an intermission room from August 23.
In recent days, the defense of the detainee raised the hypothesis of the fight.
And that Luziano would have started it, and that Rivas defended himself until he was killed.

says Julieta, with anger and pain.
“At first, hearing that lie filled us with outrage.
It is not necessary to clarify the type of person that Luziano was.

The march was carried out based on an alleged request for house arrest for the accused.
In the last hours it emerged that Rivas Stewart would be involved (even before the murder) in online gambling, and that he would have lost a lot of money, to the point of feeling cornered by debts.
