As already
reported
in the
Kreisbote
, the
project is funded
by the federal program “Adaptation of Urban Areas to Climate Change”.
Measures that contribute to strengthening the vitality and functional diversity of urban green spaces and open spaces and thus pursue a climate adaptation strategy are considered to be eligible for funding.
One of the main goals of the citizens involved in the project is to ecologically upgrade an urban green space in a joint effort in such a way that the needs of people, flora and fauna are linked and complement each other.
The start-up funding from federal funding helps to finance plants, material and technical support.
The extensive work as a project initiator and organizer is done on a voluntary basis, an agreed expense allowance flows back into the project in the form of catering on hands-on garden days, the purchase of equipment and materials.
In the months of July and August, 570 working hours were "donated" by co-creators!
However, the long-term implementation of the project requires a multi-meshed network of co-creators: committed (hobby) gardeners who donate their time and muscle power and donors who contribute with a monetary donation to ensure the ongoing maintenance of the garden and its use as a place to finance encounters and nature education in the long term.
The Lions Club Kempten Müßiggengel has set up a project-related donation account for this purpose, thus ensuring a transparent and accounting-perfect donation administration and the issuing of donation receipts.
The donation account: Lions Club Kempten Müßiggengel - Hortus Natura, IBAN: DE 66 7335 0000 0515 89 1653.
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps to make the project sustainable and sustainable.
Take part!
