Syrian table tennis has many distinguished talents who have proven their worth in international tournaments, including the player Inana Kurdi who recently won the gold medal in the women's category in the Arab Championship in Jordan.
In a statement to SANA's sports reporter, a Kurdish woman said that the gold medal she won with the team in the Arab championship in the team competition constituted a great incentive to redouble efforts to achieve more achievements in the upcoming events. My ambition is to raise the flag of Syria in international forums.
Kurdish added that the competition in the Arab Championship was very strong, as I managed with my colleagues in the team to win the gold by defeating the Egyptian team, and the performance of our team was admired by the experience of the game at the Arab level, explaining that this championship came after a ten-year hiatus from the last participation of Syria at the Arab level Because of the terrorist war on Syria.
And she continued, "I am currently preparing for the Arab Clubs Championship this month, under the supervision of coach Jamila Al-Shaar, who is credited with the good level I have reached."
For her part, coach Al-Shaar pointed out that table tennis enjoys many talents in Syria in general and in Salamiyah in particular. As for the young player, Inanna Kurdish, who is very talented, and this tournament is her second participation outside Syria. It is also a great achievement compared to her age, expressing her willingness to develop the performance of her player's level to reach the required level before any An external entitlement.
