Just a few days ago, Radamel Falcao reached an agreement regarding the release of his contract with Glatsray and already (Saturday) he managed to sign with Rayo Vallecano.
This is the unexpected comeback of the Colombian striker to the Spanish league where he starred in the Atletico Madrid uniform between 2011 and 2013.
The 35-year-old striker, who at the beginning of the decade helped Atletico Madrid win the Europa League, the Spanish Cup and the European Super Cup, has suffered a string of troublesome injuries in recent years that have prevented him from standing out in the Turkish league.

Which opened the season with two losses to Sevilla and Sociedad and an impressive win over Grande, is building quite a bit on its new acquisition striker, whose debut game will likely be as early as next Saturday in Levante.
Meanwhile, Frank Ribery.
The French winger, who left Fiorentina this summer after two years, has no plans to leave Serie A at all.
The 38-year-old French midfielder has reportedly concluded at a ninth club in his career: Salernitana, the newcomer to the Italian top league.
