The fight against the Delta variant: The
Ministry of Health published the updated morbidity data this evening (Saturday), which shows that 9,739 people were diagnosed as verified in Corona yesterday, while another 4,145 were diagnosed at midnight, with the percentage of positive tests standing at 6.91%.
The number of active patients in Israel currently stands at 90,750, of whom 1,087 are hospitalized.
Of those hospitalized, the number of patients with a severely defined condition rose slightly over the weekend to 677 - of whom 157 were respirators.
Also, 7,153 people died from the outbreak of the plague.
The number of vaccinated in the first dose is currently 6,010,685.
The number of vaccinated in the second dose is 5,507,351, and the number of people vaccinated in the third dose, the booster dose, is 2,573,020.
