At 9:40 am today (4th), off No. 50 Wang Lok Street, Yuen Long Industrial Estate, a private car crashed into a container trailer. The driver of the private car was trapped, injured his head and fell into a coma.
The firefighters rushed to the scene in response to the report, rescued the trapped driver, and rushed him to Pok Oi Hospital, but he died in the end.
Sources at the scene stated that the male driver, who was about 60 years old at the time of the incident, drove the white seven-person car involved and turned left into a straight road about 10 meters long on Hongle Street. During the incident, he suddenly crossed the lane and rammed into a parked road on the opposite side of the road with no tractor. The private car took in the trailer and passed through the windshield to suppress the driver. People passing by found the police.
The police are searching the scene to see if there was any CCTV filming the incident to investigate the cause of the accident.
