The "Resistance Front" in the Afghan province of Panjshir announced the killing of about 600 Taliban militants in the confrontations between the two sides in separate areas of the province north of the capital, Kabul.
"About 600 Taliban terrorists have been killed in separate parts of Panjshir since morning," Fahim Dashti, a spokesman for the Resistance Front, said on his Twitter account, and that "more than a thousand of its fighters were arrested or surrendered to the forces of the Resistance Front."
He pointed out that the "Resistance Front" forces cut off supplies to the Taliban from other provinces and seized their equipment.
