16-year-old accused of murdering a sex offender in Netanya: "He wrote that he came to purge the world of pedophiles"
An indictment was filed against the boy, for stabbing to death Haim Wizman, a 42-year-old city resident a month ago.
The 16-year-old was observed arriving at the apartment with the victim, and leaving alone.
He claimed that Wizman did not allow him to leave the apartment when he asked, and that the stabbing occurred during a fight, but police believe it was a premeditated murder.

An indictment was filed today (Sunday) against a 16-year-old boy, for the murder of Haim Wizman, a convicted sex offender from Netanya, 42, in his apartment in the city last month.
The restraining order imposed on the affair was lifted today.
The police investigation revealed that 16-year-old Wiseman had been dating on the gay community's dating app a few months before the murder.
After several correspondences, the 42-year-old invited the boy to his apartment and they arranged to meet.
The minor was recorded by security cameras on the street entering the house with the victim six hours before the body was found, and leaving the place alone after about half an hour.
A search of Wizman's cell phone found correspondence with the minor, which led the police to the 16-year-old, who lives in one of the Sharon localities and comes from an established family.
After investigators identified that it was a boy who was observed entering the apartment with the man, they reached his home, arrested him and confiscated his computer and mobile device.

A police source said that the investigators woke the suspect boy from his sleep and threw the suspicions at him.
"The boy did not respond from the excitement, he already knew what we were talking about," the source explained.
At first, the boy in the investigation denied any connection to the case.
However, a police source said that after the first detention extension, in which his detention was extended for a week, the 16-year-old realized there was evidence against him, broke down and on the advice of his lawyers handed over his version to the police.
He said he came to the meeting voluntarily out of sexual curiosity, but soon asked to leave the apartment.
The boy claimed that Wizman locked the door and did not allow him to leave.
Then, he claimed, he pulled out a knife in his possession and tried to make his way out.
During the fight with the victim, he was stabbed and died, the defendant claimed.

However, the police, who hold DNA findings linking the boy to the murder scene, believe it was a premeditated murder.
Wizman's body was found a few hours after the defendant left the apartment, by a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl who knew Wizman and arrived at the scene. Investigators collected evidence from the two, and found that the boy used to have sex with the victim in exchange for various gifts.
