Three Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured, including children, as a result of the Israeli occupation’s suppression of the siege-breaking marches organized by the people of the Gaza Strip daily since the 28th of last August, in rejection of the unjust siege imposed on them for more than fifteen years, while the international community continues its silence on the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people.

Walid Al-Awad, a member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian People's Party, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the occupation turned the Gaza Strip years ago into a large prison holding 2 million Palestinians, and after its brutal aggression last May, in which 255 Palestinians were killed, including 66 children, and caused great damage to the infrastructure, it tightened its land siege. and Bahri to tighten the screws on the Palestinians in it.

Al-Awad indicated that the occupation's prevention of the entry of goods, raw materials and those necessary for reconstruction into the Gaza Strip has exacerbated the human suffering of more than eight thousand families whose homes were destroyed during the aggression, calling on the international community to intervene to put an end to the crimes of the occupation, including killing, siege and starvation.

The head of the International Committee for the Defense of the Rights of the Palestinian People, Salah Abdel-Ati, pointed out that the occupation continues its land, sea and air aggression on the Gaza Strip through incursions, bombings, and targeting of farmers and fishermen’s boats, which further deteriorates the humanitarian situation in the Strip, while the international community is watching the tragedy experienced by its people.

Abdel-Aty pointed out that the occupation’s attack with bullets and poison gas bombs on the participants in the marches to break the siege on the eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip is a war crime that calls for immediate action from the international community to compel the occupation to implement the rules of international and humanitarian law and resolutions of international legitimacy, lift its unjust siege and stop its crimes against the Palestinian people.

A member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Talal Abu Zarifa, stated that the occupation imagines that killing Palestinians and wounding them with bullets of its hatred will suppress the marches, as it will never be able to break the will of resistance and struggle among the Palestinian people, and the marches will not stop until the siege is lifted and the occupation is defeated.

Human rights researcher Hussein Hammad stressed that the occupation’s blockade of the Gaza Strip is a crime that has caused humanitarian, health, environmental and economic disasters, and that its suppression of the marches to break the siege is a flagrant violation of all international laws and covenants, calling on the International Criminal Court to start an investigation into the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians and to hold those responsible accountable.

Member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Maryam Abu Daqqa, stressed that resisting the occupation is a right guaranteed by all international laws, and that the marches will continue in the Gaza Strip until the siege is lifted and the Judaization war against occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank is ended, stressing that the occupation will fail against the steadfastness of the Palestinian people who defend About his freedom, dignity and legitimate rights.
