A pedal boat on which a young family was traveling on the Mur suddenly sank.
A six-year-old girl was killed.

, the pedal boat probably went down because of a leak.
The exact circumstances of the accident are currently still part of the police investigation.

When the boat sank, the 30-year-old mother was able to save herself.
According to the report, the father tried to swim his two daughters to the shore.
However, he only managed to save his eight-year-old daughter on land.
She was already unconscious - but was reanimated by a passerby and then transported away by a rescue helicopter.
