Catering: wages "not up to par", according to Élisabeth Borne

The former president of the RATP asked employers to put proposals on the table to address these remuneration problems which directly affect the attractiveness of jobs.


It is a small sentence which will not fail to make the employers react… Invited this Saturday on France Inter, the Minister of Labor, Élisabeth Borne, indicated that the salaries of the employees were

"not up to par"

in certain sectors like hotels, cafes or restaurants. As a result, the former president of the RATP asked employers to put proposals on the table to address these remuneration problems which directly affect the attractiveness of jobs. Because today, especially because of too low wages and particularly complicated working conditions, many sectors are facing a labor shortage.
