Kempten - The last week of the holiday starts next Monday, September 6th, and for schoolchildren who use public transport to get to school and do not yet have a ticket for the new school year, it will gradually be time to get a schoolchildren's ticket.
Since experience shows that there is a large rush in the service center at the ZUM towards the end of the summer holidays and at the beginning of the new school year, the Kemptener Verkehrsbetriebe (KVB) has also rented ticket booths from the festival week this year to issue tickets.
The schoolchildren receive their Mona tickets at two of the three houses, and Regionalbus Augsburg GmbH (RBA) sells school tickets at the third counter. With the extra contact points and pioneering floor markings, the KVB want to ensure that their young passengers can keep to the distance rules when picking up their tickets and that the rush of customers is spread out somewhat. In addition, the service center on the ZUM island is to be relieved, so that all other customers can also be served promptly and the risk of infection is as low as possible.
The ticket booths are open from Monday 6 September to Friday 17 September, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., as well as the service center.
The school bus ticket is available as a plastic card, but can also be downloaded digitally as a “mobile phone ticket” onto a smartphone.
If you want to apply for your ticket online and receive it via the app, you will find instructions and further information on the school ticket on the homepage www.mona-allgaeu.de/ticket-shop/unser-ticket-shop under the heading "Occasional tickets".
