The chairman of the health committee, MK Idit Silman, also welcomed the understandings: ".
The public hospitals have been on strike for ten days, according to the principals, due to the non-transfer of the budgets promised to them.
The hospitals - Hadassah, Shaare Zedek, Maayan Hayeshua, Laniado and the three hospitals in Nazareth - the French, the English and the Italian - have since switched to the "Shabbat format".
In the week and a half that has passed since the strike was announced, the medical staffs have demonstrated several times and demanded that they be budgeted properly.
After announcing the strike, they were given an advance of more than NIS 100 million immediately, as an interim compromise, but the hospitals rejected it.
Since then, they have been negotiating, until they have reached agreements.
