A confrontation in the suburbs of Salt Lake City ended on Saturday when authorities entered a home and found
the bodies of three people, including the alleged attacker.
All died of gunshot wounds,
authorities reported.
The three people may be related, Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera said Saturday in a media meeting at the scene.
According to early accounts, some relatives had visited the home located in Millcreek, Utah, to speak with the 30-year-old suspect about his mental health and the firearms he possessed, the sheriff said.
