A 40-year-old scooter driver was killed in a traffic accident in Vilshofen on Monday.
She was run over by a tractor-trailer.
Vilshofen - On Monday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Lower Bavarian town of Vilshofen in the Passau district * in which a 40-year-old scooter driver was killed.
As reported by the Vilshofen police with reference to eyewitnesses, the accident is said to have occurred on Monday at around 2:35 p.m. on the B8 in the direction of Albersdorf.

The 40-year-old waited there on a motor scooter, as was a 52-year-old truck driver from the Deggendorf district in a tractor-trailer in the left-turn lane at a red light.
When the traffic light switched to green, the truck started moving and apparently overlooked the scooter driver waiting in front of it.
The 40-year-old was run over by the semi-trailer.
The woman from the Passau district was fatally injured.
The rescue workers initiated resuscitation measures immediately after their arrival, but were ultimately only able to determine the death of the 40-year-old.
The truck driver suffered a shock and was hospitalized in Vilshofen.

The responsible public prosecutor in Passau called in an expert to reconstruct the course of the accident. However, no further information was available on Monday evening. In the accident, there was additional property damage in the amount of 2500 euros.
