Deconfinement in Reunion
The situation is improving in Reunion, where the confinement in force since July is now lifted on weekdays and the curfew postponed to 9 p.m.
The incidence rate is now 162 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, a level
"very close to that of the metropolis"
, according to the director of the ARS of the island Martine Ladoucette.

Tense situation in Martinique and Guadeloupe
Hospital pressure remains particularly strong in Martinique where 654 patients are hospitalized, including 151 in critical care, and in Guadeloupe (596, including 89).
New medical evacuation from Guadeloupe
A new transfer of covid-19 patients took place on the weekend of September 4 from Guadeloupe.
Twelve serious patients were evacuated to the metropolis where they were hospitalized in hospitals in the Ile-de-France region.
Four more air evacuations are planned this week.
Compulsory vaccination in New Caledonia
Vaccination against Covid-19 will become compulsory in New Caledonia for all adults, except those with a medical contraindication, while only 30% of the population of the archipelago is to date fully vaccinated.
This obligation, adopted unanimously by Congress on Friday, will also apply to all travelers wishing to visit the archipelago, a rare territory in the world still free from Covid-19. Unvaccinated people will be refused entry to the territory.
