Within the activities of the Artist Fateh Mudarres Forum for Syrian Fine Art, the Directorate of Culture, in cooperation with the Union of Fine Artists in Aleppo, held a plastic exhibition entitled Aleppo Creations, with the participation of 25 plastic artists, at Al-Assad Art Gallery.

Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, stated that the activities of the Fateh Mudarres Forum for Syrian Fine Art, “The Waheed Moroccan Course,” will continue for 15 days, explaining that the exhibition of Aleppo Creations, which opened today, includes a variety of plastic works by female artists, including a number of art schools.

Nouran Jabakji, head of the branch of the Union of Fine Artists in Aleppo, indicated that the exhibition's paintings varied between abstract and realistic schools in a distinctive style that embodied reality and included literal paintings and authentic heritage, in addition to paintings depicting the popular neighborhoods and the castle of Aleppo by the hands of the Aleppine artists in bright and distinctive colors.

Ibrahim Daoud, Secretary of the Union of Fine Artists in Aleppo, indicated that the exhibition included 40 diverse and creative paintings, some of them inspired by the works of the artist Wahid Maghribi.

SANA's camera met with a number of plastic artists participating in the exhibition, where the plastic artist Suzan Hussein expressed her pride in this participation, presenting two paintings that embody the Syrian nature and the Citadel of Aleppo, using warm colors in an expressive and realistic way.

While amateur artist Faten El Helou expressed in oil colors the concerns of the female through her painting, and artist Nisreen Sabry participated in a painting that talks about the spirit of life and hope and embodies motherhood that gives love and tenderness by being a symbol of giving despite the cruelty of life.

Engineer Alia Rihawi participated in the exhibition with a painting that talks about the women of the Aleppo community, based on the exhibition title “Halabi Creations,” noting the importance of participation to provide an overview of art in al-Shahba, as these exhibitions provide an opportunity for many talented artists to appear on the art scene.

The plastic artist Hayat El Romo referred to her paintings that express suffering and hope through the two schools of impressionism and realism, saying, "Brishti and my colors expressed thought and openness, and I say frankly that art is a global social and cultural link on which we must strive more and more."

The plastic artist, Ibtisam Majid, presented a painting about motherhood and what it symbolizes, expressing her longing for her mother.

Among the visitors to the exhibition, the plastic artist, Mohammed Rashid, drew attention to the distinctive themes and various ideas embodied in the paintings, indicating the importance of holding such forums in the city of Aleppo, while the young Abdul Rahman Al-Bakri noted the positive role of these exhibitions in social and cultural life, pointing to the optimism found in the paintings that embody art in Aleppo.
