A classmate of the late Eliyahu Asheri, from the Elisha pre-military preparatory school, was shocked to discover that one of his murderers had escaped from prison last night •

If by chance the director and creator of the series "Escapees" (Prison Break), Paul Schoring, hears today on the news about what happened tonight (Sunday) at Gilboa Prison in the Holy Land - he will not believe that the script he wrote also has a reality version.

The escape of security terrorists with blood on their hands, this is a sad and disturbing story that causes a feeling of insecurity all over the country.

It is very serious that a security prison in Israel is not maintained or secured in the most professional manner.

How is it that in the prison kept in Israel, one of the lowest failures we have known in history occurs?

There is no human error here and no operational error or tactical error, there is one big negligence here.

One of the terrorists who escaped from prison was one of the kidnappers and murderers of a member of the "Elisha" pre-military preparatory school, Eliyahu Asheri.

In the summer of 2006, shortly before the Second Lebanon War, on the day Gilad Shalit was abducted, Eliyahu was also abducted and murdered on his way to the mechina.

Eliyahu boarded a ride from the Ofra junction, to a vehicle in which disguised terrorists were sitting with a sticker on the windshield, of the Neve Tzof settlement.

Elijah did not survive long and was killed while traveling, and was buried in Ramallah.

After the military paint of an elite unit, the terrorist cell was captured, his body was found and he was buried on the Mount of Olives.

Eliyahu was one of the most prominent and beloved students in the mechina.

He came to us when he was in the twelfth grade, younger than us. Grandson of the elder of the rabbis of religious Zionism, Rabbi Chaim Druckman.

Elijah made an inconceivable change in the mechina.

His strengthening in religion was drastic.

Usually when a person repents, he does so gradually, slowly.

Elijah was a man of prayer, he would pray a lot of the time, even when the rest had finished and were deep in the preparatory classes.

Everything about him was with a smile and a bright face.

Elijah was a man of peace, and was a magnet to all around him.

After leaving us, he left a large and painful void.

Unfortunately, it is neither a secret nor a new thing, that security prisoners in Israel live well in prison.

Pampering meals, cable watching, money coming from the Palestinian Authority and of course the recognition on the Arab street that they are becoming heroes.

In this omission it turns out that even the measures that are supposed to disrupt cellular reception were not activated, due to pressure from the prisoners.

The icing on the cake for them is that they are released in one deal or another, so even life imprisonment for them is sometimes just non-binding words.

The escape failure is a low point in the state's treatment of those prisoners.

The State of Israel must change the equation.

It must create deterrence and severe punishment for captured terrorists, so that their environment thinks twice before choosing to go their own way.

The IPS must do a home inspection and understand how such a thing happened. Terrorists with blood on their hands must not be allowed to live in prison conditions in a prison. Escape.

What we have left now is to hope that the security forces will soon get their hands on the six terrorists, that the lessons will be learned soon - and especially to give a big hug to the extended Asheri family, along with the other bereaved families, and wish next year a better and safer one.
