Penzberg - The futsalers of FC Penzberg played their first Bundesliga game on Sunday (September 5th): On their debut, the wolves defeated the Wakka Eagles Hamburg.
Nervousness can not be felt either on the side of FC Penzberg or on the side of the Wakka Eagles Hamburg.
Both teams know what it's all about: their first game in the Futsal Bundesliga.
At the beginning Samir Azizi left two huge chances in the Penzberg wave pool hall.
The Hamburg guests are unimpressed by the FCP efforts and take a 1-0 lead after four minutes.
But the Penzbergers do not give up.
Every won duel is celebrated euphorically by the fans and the substitution bench.
Fazlican Verep makes history
Just a few moves later, the time has come: Fazlican Verep is the first Penzberg Bundesliga goalscorer to make a name for himself in the history books.
Verep is played with a fine lob, acceptance is right and so is the conclusion.
The equalization puts the fans and Penzberg players into ecstasy for a short time.

Both teams are motivated to the tip of their hair.

Shortly after the restart, Hamburg take the lead 1: 2.

But the wolves don't give up.

The wave pool hall trembles
Shortly afterwards, a Wakka player loses his nerve: yellow-red card and the fourth team foul for Hamburg.
The Eagles are outnumbered for the time being.
Penzberg is now besieging the Hamburger Tor, the Eagles are defending it with all their hands.
The Penzberg loop tightens: First the number ten of the guests on the line clears, then the Hamburg keeper cannot hold the ball and Samir Azizi nets to the celebrated 3-2.
There are now five of the Hamburgers on the field again.

Akif Abasikeles has two chances to decide the game for Penzberg with ten meters, but he misses both penalties.
In return, Hamburg could shorten it to 4: 3.
Alen Patak has kept his strong form from the German championship, if not even improved it.
He makes it 5: 3 for Penzberg.
Hamburg tries the last few minutes with a flying keeper, i.e. an additional field player.
The Eagles' tactic pays off: Follow-up goal to make it 5: 4.

Penzberg secured the first three points for the mission "relegation" with the 6: 4 victory.
According to Captain Maxi Kalus, the victory is to be celebrated at the local folk festival - with 50 postage stamps from Mayor Stefan Korpan.
Mainz follows after Hamburg
In the opening game of the Futsal Bundesliga on Friday (September 3rd) between Fortuna Düsseldorf and HSV Panthers (1-0) only one goal was scored.
With ten goals and a yellow-red card, more entertainment was required in the wave pool hall.
As with the German championship, the FCP futsalers remain a guarantee for high-scoring games.
However, one notices a positive change in the team of head coach Andreas Brunner compared to the DM appearances in Duisburg: The Penzbergers seem more sorted on the defensive and much more organized in their play structure and their counter situations.
A revenge is on the menu on the second matchday: on Sunday (September 12th) the trip to Mainz.
Against TSG 1846 Mainz-Bretzenheim, the Penzbergers were eliminated from the German championship.
