The plastic artist Khaldoun Al-Ahmad continued his navigation with the worlds of Arabic calligraphy and its aesthetics through his current exhibition at Al-Khanji Gallery of Fine Arts in Aleppo.
The exhibition, which was held within the activities of the Artist Fateh Mudarres Forum for Syrian Plastic Art, entitled Letters, and included 40 different artistic paintings, about which the artist Al-Ahmad spoke in a statement to SANA reporter that his paintings included Arabic letters and the state of color and its beauty within the fine art, indicating that the colors express joy in order to reflect this pleasure. The recipient has an aesthetic condition that puts him in an atmosphere of happiness and hope despite the surrounding circumstances.
Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, found that the exhibition included plastic works in which the Ahmad artist uses his own style of adapting the Arabic letter by drawing distinctive and unique plastic paintings.
Among the visitors to the exhibition, the plastic artist, Bashar Barazi, drew attention to the joyful colors it contains, pointing to the uniqueness of the plastic artist Khaldoun Al-Ahmad by introducing the line in the plastic state with grace and strength.
Abdul Rahman, a professor candidate at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Aleppo, indicated that these exhibitions give a positive impression, especially at the present time, as they include distinguished works and paintings that talk about reality, architecture, decorations, and others.
Gad Jamal, an English language teacher, pointed out that what distinguished the exhibition most were the rhythms of colors and rare letters that take us back to our origin and language away from the tradition of the West and embody our civilization and history.
