The GDL union continues its strike at Deutsche Bahn on Monday.

Berlin - At Deutsche Bahn, what is expected to be the last full day of the third round of strikes in the collective bargaining conflict with the train drivers' union GDL has started “stable” according to company information.

As the company announced, it wants to maintain a replacement timetable for long-distance traffic with 30 percent of regular traffic on Monday.

In regional and S-Bahn traffic, around 40 percent of trains are still on the move - with strong regional differences.

When is the GDL rail strike over?

The GDL strike in passenger and freight traffic should last until Tuesday morning at 2 a.m.

The railway called on its passengers to postpone trips if possible and to find out more about the offer on a regular basis.

The union of German locomotive drivers (GDL) wants to use the strike to force higher incomes and better working conditions for employees.

It is the third strike in this collective bargaining round.
