The government announced today (6th) that it has completed discussions with the governments of India, Malaysia, Pakistan and Thailand and will approve the vaccination records issued by these regions.
Hong Kong residents who have vaccination records in accordance with the specified format can board the aircraft from the designated areas in Group A of the high-risk areas to come to Hong Kong.
The relevant arrangements will be implemented from midnight this Wednesday (8th).

The government stated that starting from midnight on Wednesday, Hong Kong residents who hold vaccination records issued by the relevant authorities of India, Malaysia, Pakistan or Thailand and meet the specified format can board from the designated areas in Group A to come to Hong Kong.
The vaccinations given to passengers must be those listed on the government’s "List of Vaccines Approved for Specified Uses for COVID-19".

The government has also completed discussions with the South Korean government to approve the vaccination record, which will also be implemented from midnight on Wednesday.
Although South Korea is not currently a designated area of Group A, the relevant arrangements can facilitate Hong Kong residents who hold vaccination records issued by the relevant competent authority of the country and meet the specified format to board from the designated areas of Group A to Hong Kong.
The government stated that it will continue to discuss arrangements for the approval of vaccination records with other regions.
The list will be updated when the government and these regions have successively reached recognition arrangements.
