Modern art comes straight to the walls from New York City!
This is made possible by Wolfdietrich Hoeveler, who exhibits his pictures and videos in the old town hall.
Visiting the
Museum Of Modern Art in New York
is a challenge due to the distance and the location of New York City, and almost impossible with the current travel regulations. But there is also modern art here. And that's why
Wolfdietrich Hoeveler
wants to
show
his
pictures and videos
on the next two
September weekends in the
afternoon
in the old town hall
in walls
.
He wants to make a contribution to the revitalization of the cultural community life within walls and the region. Its exhibits deal with topics in life: being alone, dropouts, thought processes, evenings in ballet, the eye and much more. Surrealistic elements and new styles alternate. A total of over 35 new pictures and videos were created. Hoeveler also shows his Parzival cycle, which is based on the text by Wolfram von Eschenbach. Like all of Hoeveler's pictures, the animated images were digitally created. “For me, this new technique is a new process in the performing arts, very similar to conventional painting. Only instead of brushes, paint and pad do I use the mouse or other technical aids, the coloring of the computer program and the monitor to create my picture.
The demands on the artistic eye, for example, the structure of the picture, the coloring and the thematic statement remain the same as in traditional painting. ”All pictures can be seen on his homepage from Saturday, September 11th. The book “Hoeveler 12” with the pictures and additional information is then available from Amazon. On Friday, September 10th, the exhibition begins with the vernissage at 7.30 p.m.
“MOMA - Museum Of Mauern Art”
with video presentation “Parzival” can then be viewed on
September 11th, 12th and 18th and 19th
from 1pm to 5pm in the old town hall in Mauern, Hauptstraße 2.
There is also an option for those interested in art: Herbert Becke's special exhibition at the Isartor. There you can marvel at his photographs with the sayings of Karl Valentins. The Wolnzach art and hobby group also offers more culture: They have decorated empty shops with a wide variety of works of art.
