According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the vigil in front of the Red Cross office in Tulkarm confirmed that the number of sick prisoners is increasing day by day, with their health condition deteriorating in a way that threatens their lives, especially the prisoners Nasser Abu Hamid and Alaa al-Araj, in light of the continued policy of deliberate medical neglect by the authorities. Occupation.

Ibrahim Al-Nimr, director of the Prisoners’ Club in Tulkarm, warned of the seriousness of the health conditions of prisoners who suffer harsh detention conditions and brutal violations, explaining that the lame prisoner has now entered the dangerous stage after his hunger strike exceeded 31 days, while the prisoner Abu Hamid suffers from a recent deterioration in his health after the discovery of a tumor in his body.

About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
