Applied technical solutions to develop work and improve services provided by students of mechanical and electrical engineering at Al-Baath University during 304 graduation projects, which they hope will find a way to actual application.

The graduation projects were divided into 7 departments: automatic control engineering, computers, communications, electronics, mechatronics, design and production, electrical energy, mechanical forces, and metals.

Dr. Shafik Basil, Dean of the College, stated that the students presented topics dealing with various fields, both mechanical and electrical, through which it is possible to achieve a knowledge economy, as it touched on making robots and establishing production lines and many others in the field of renewable energies, indicating that an exhibition will be held later that includes distinguished projects.

Dr. Ammar Zaqzouq, Head of the Department of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering, stated that the students presented distinguished projects and that the college urges students to choose project ideas that are practically applicable, while the faculty member of the college Ali Diab stated that the students tried, through their graduation projects, to present viable products that mimic ideas Remote control, robotics and automation of production lines in laboratories.

Dr. Samer Rabie, a member of the faculty at the college, confirmed that projects dealing with renewable energies were presented during the current year with the aim of encouraging the shift towards it in feeding the government and private residential sectors.

The students Fatima Diab, Omar Seryo and Ahmed Al-Ali indicated that they worked through their graduation project entitled “Implementing an attendance system for the employees of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering” to control the entry and exit of employees through an economic program that provides the process of verifying entry and departure times.

While students Muhammad Shabout, Elias Salloum, Heba Farah, Hajar Al Muhammed and Ahed Ahmed, through their project “Remote Control of a Robot to Perform Cleaning Operations,” tried to conduct cleaning operations in the streets and public squares in a way that eliminates human contact in the places being cleaned and presented an idea for an economical robot in energy consumption. .
