Assises de l'Essonne: a sexagenarian accused of incest by his two daughters

Her little sister, who is seven years younger, also says she was sexually assaulted by her father.

Since Monday, Abdul, 66, has been appearing before the Essonne Assize Court for these acts of incest.

Facts that he denies since his arrest and his placement in pre-trial detention, accusing his daughter of wanting revenge because he was too severe.

And he continues to deny from his box: "I maintain my previous statements, I dispute," said this Pakistani via his translator.

The man arrived in France in 1985 asking for asylum on the grounds that he had been secretary of an opposition party in his country.

But he continues to sexually assault the younger girl until 2017. On this date, the elder reveals what she is the victim of to her mother, who then fears that her other daughter is also a victim of these abuses.

When Abdul learns of the existence of the complaint, he threatens to kill himself, lock everyone in the house and set everything on fire, which leads him to be arrested in the process.

The verdict of this trial is expected next Friday.
