Almost two weeks before the election, the left has positioned itself for possible government participation with a new climate protection program. With the 15-point program that SPIEGEL has received, the party wants to make it clear that only "with a left in the next federal government" will still have a chance to meet the Paris climate targets, according to party executive Maximilian Becker.
