Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, offered condolences on the death of the scholar Ayatollah Muhammad Saeed al-Tabatabai al-Hakim, the prominent religious authority in Najaf and the Hawza in Iraq.
During his condolences, Ambassador Al-Dandah noted the rich scientific career and the great jurisprudential legacy left by the late.
For their part, the Al-Hakim family and the seminary in Najaf thanked President al-Assad for his condolences, wishing the Syrian leadership, government and people continued progress and prosperity.
