and the double of French Antoine Griezmann allowed their teams to achieve victory and stay on track to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, on a day in which Portugal also won.
The Portuguese team, without Cristiano Ronaldo -suspended due to the accumulation of cautions-, fulfilled against Azerbaijan with a 3-0 victory in which Bernardo Silva (26), André Silva (31) and Diogo Jota (75) scored.
With 13 points, Portugal leads Group A with two more than Serbia, which drew 1-1 with Ireland.
