This Monday, the president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, announced on public television that a plant for the production of the Russian vaccine, Sputnik V.

"Announcement that as a result of negotiations between the Peruvian government and the Russian government, the installation of a production plant for the vaccine against covid-19 Sputnik V has been coordinated in the country," Castillo said.

The president did not make it clear when the plant would be ready.
