The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda Governorate put two wells (Sweida 24) and (Park 1) into service after completing the necessary maintenance and repair operations for them.
The Director of Maintenance and Investment in the Corporation, Eng. Samih Nasr, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the (Park 1) well has been inoperative for several months, and new equipment has been installed for it by the Corporation, including a submersible pump and electric cables, pointing out that the (Suwayda 24) well at the site of the castle has stopped working. Worked for less than a week and had the necessary maintenance done.
Nasr indicated that there is a follow-up by the corporation's technical workshops for the wells to deal with the malfunctions that occur and treat them according to the priorities and available capabilities.
A few days ago, the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda had installed the wells of Al-Tha’lah 6 and Al-Tha’lah 9 feeding the city of Sweida, Al-Diyathah 5, for the Al-Mashnaf, Al-Duwairah 2 areas, Anz 2 and Barika 1 into service.
