SPD, Union or Greens?
The latest poll on the 2021 federal election paints a clear picture.
It would be bitter for Annalena Baerbock and her party.
Berlin - Who will succeed Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU)?
Green politician Annalena Baerbock?
SPD top candidate Olaf Scholz?
Or CDU candidate for Chancellor and Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia Armin Laschet?
Polls for the 2021 federal election: SPD clearly ahead of the Union and the Greens
A survey three weeks before the federal election in 2021 (September 26th) delivered a very clear result. In the
Insa
opinion trend for the
picture
from Monday, September 6th, the SPD would be clearly the strongest force. And with 26 percent of the vote. The Social Democrats and their candidate Scholz would thus gain another percentage point compared to the last Insa survey - and increase the lead.
According to this poll for the federal election, the CDU and CSU union would also improve by half a percentage point to 20.5 percent.
But the gap is still huge.
This also applies to the Greens and their top candidate Annalena Baerbock.
A furious start to the election campaign, the Chancellery has moved into the distance for what is currently the smallest opposition party in the German Bundestag.
According to the
Insa
survey, the Greens lose another percentage point and are only 15.5 percent of the vote in favor of the electorate.

The FDP around party leader Christian Lindner comes to 12.5 percent, the AfD to 11 percent and the Left to 6.5 percent of the vote.
The focus is on the distance between the SPD and CDU / CSU and their candidate for chancellor Laschet.
Ultimately, these parties are likely to decide who will be entrusted with forming a government in the post-Merkel era.
And after 16 years of union, there is now more and more pointing to the social democrats.
That was not what was expected half a year ago.

The
SPD's clear lead was
also found in the polls by the
Wahlen research group
and by
Yougov
(each September 3). The
research group Elections
