Suspicious sound, worried about danger, so called the police for help.

Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene for preliminary inspection and found that there was a circuit board outside the package with a wire connected to the package.

The officers immediately blocked the nearby road section and evacuated about 100 people to a safe location. The Fire Services Department also sent personnel to the scene to guard.



Staff from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Section were called to the scene and dispatched bomb disposal robots to detonate suspicious items in the phone booth. At 5:30 in the afternoon, a loud noise and white smoke came out from the phone booth. A bomb expert in protective clothing approached for inspection. Make sure there is no immediate danger.

At 6 pm, the police unblocked some sections of the road. Detectives investigated in the phone booth and scanned the model to search for evidence. After preliminary investigation, it was believed that the suspicious item was a portable charger that was disassembled.

The incident was classified as a suspicious item found and handed over to the first team of the Kwai Tsing District Crime Squad for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.
