The Intercontinental title that Boca won from Real Madrid in Japan is an indelible feat.

And although more than 20 years have passed, every memory of that night in Tokyo goes viral, is searched and collectors go after little-known jewels.

This is what happened with a material that saw the light in the last hours:

an hour and a half of celebrations and intimacy of

characters who were in the biggest title of the Carlos Bianchi cycle.

But although the technology of 2000 already allowed to record much of what happened, these videos are recorded by someone who participated in the feat together with the campus.

And who is now leading the team: Sebastián Battaglia.

And among the endless greetings, celebrations and moments of that epic night, fragments appear in the hotel of the concentration, on the playing field of the Tokyo stadium, in the historic trip back to the country and an endless caravan of hours that was made from Ezeiza and to La Boca.

Carlos Bianchi, Juan Román Riquelme, Martín Palermo, Jorge Bermúdez and so many other glories were immortalized in that compilation that had a different eye than journalism, because it was done by a member of the delegation.

The Preview went viral and was shared in seconds by several Boca accounts in a matter of days.

The material was collected by the Collective Assets area of Newcycle a long time ago and due to the amount of inquiries from collectors who tried to keep the file, it was decided to auction it (https://bit.ly/videobattaglia) on an online platform of digital collectible art (OpenSea) despite not having a reference to its symbolic value.

Martín Palermo's two unforgettable goals against Real Madrid at the start of the game were the most important of his career for the top scorer in the club's history.

For Riquelme, that dance that he gave to Makelele and company in Tokyo was his best matches.

For Carlos Bianchi, who in Japan beat Milan with Vélez in 1994 and with Boca in 2003, it was a unique night.

That victory against Los Galacticos of Real Madrid was remembered for years in Spain.

It was Iker Casillas who admitted.

"I still remember the 2000 Intercontinental against Boca, which cost us dearly," admitted the Spanish goalkeeper about a memory difficult to forget.

Bianchi's pre-game talk was something everyone recognized over time.

"He told us that he spent more time with us than with his children, that we were about to play the most important game in our history and he could not believe an argument over who was playing," Pandolfi said a long time ago.

The topic?

That Marcelo Delgado had won the position to Barros Schelotto and Palermo wanted the Twin to play.

After that talk, everything was solved.

The 1 to 0 was from Palermo with a center from Delgado.

The 2-0, in five minutes, was from the Titan after a magical pass from Riquelme.

Not even Roberto Carlos discount could turn a story that had already been written in blue and gold.

And that Battaglia, today DT, decided to record with his camera forever.
