There are sentences that we do not say lightly, especially in the context of physical violence experienced by teachers and on the eve of the opening in Paris of the trial of the attacks of November 13, 2015. A 15-year-old teenager , living in Montereau and educated at the Gustave Eiffel high school in Varennes-sur-Seine, however slipped this Tuesday around 9:30 am to one of his friends, while they had met in the park next to the establishment, which he had a gun in his bag and was going to go after one of the teachers.
The intrusion alert triggered while awaiting the arrival of the police
This friend had the instinct to immediately call the police.
All the crews from the Montereau police station went on site and the principal, alerted, immediately triggered the intrusion alert.
All the students were thus confined as they repeat regularly during anti-terrorist exercises.
By the time the police arrived, the teenager had entered high school.
The police were deployed in the establishment to find him.
Two of them intercepted him in front of the teachers' room and pointed their guns at him to prevent any unfortunate actions on his part.
By palpating the young man, they found that he actually had no weapon on him.
Placed in custody, he recognized his words but said he wanted to play.
No specific teacher was targeted.
He is also not known for any act of violence and the police saw in him a need for recognition.
He was released but was summoned back to the police station on Friday with his parents.
Neither the students nor the teachers panicked.
They quickly realized that it was a false alarm and the day was able to unfold almost normally in the school.
