The high-altitude anticyclone is bringing generally fine weather to southeastern China, while there are still showers in the coastal waters of Guangdong.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, Severe Tropical Storm Conson gathered about 130 kilometers southeast of Manila and is expected to move northwest at a speed of about 12 kilometers per hour across the central Philippines.
At the same time, the strong typhoon Chanthu gathered about 1540 kilometers southeast of Taipei. It is expected to move westward at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour. It will generally move toward Taiwan and continue to strengthen.
